Nathan loves to pull off his socks and shoes...he managed to pull them off within 30 seconds I put them on..after many tries...we finally able to take a family photo that every one is looking at the Camera..

經過很多次的嘗試 我們終於拍成家庭照 憲瑞超愛把他的襪子跟鞋子拔掉 通常穿上後的三十秒內就被拆了 我們希望大家今年都過的非常有意義跟充滿許多美好的回憶 也希望大家明年同樣過的健康 愉快 心想事成

Nathan's glasses 戴眼鏡

Well...yeah...Nathan has to wear glasses now..we noticed he likes to look side way sometimes and asked for doctor's check up. About last month, our doctor finally referral us to a child eye doctor specialist for a check up. He told us that Nathan is far sighted..which is common among kids before one year old, however, his far signed seems more than most kids and that's why he needs to move his head from left to right, right to left so that he is not seeing double visions. And he suggested we let him try the glasses for a while and have an evaluation 3 month later, hopefully it's only temporary, but it's may be something long-term too.

So here our baby is...14month and ready for his first glasses..
憲瑞從小就很喜歡把頭轉來轉去看東西 最近醫生幫我們轉介到兒童眼科醫師 經過醫生反覆的檢查 確定憲瑞有遠視 雖然大部分的寶寶都有遠視 但是大部分到了一歲左右就會自己調整回正常 但是憲瑞的遠視好像比一般小朋友更嚴重 醫生說因為遠視 所以他會把頭側一邊 不然他會看到重複的影像 總之 我一歲的寶寶必須戴眼鏡啦 希望只是暫時的 三個月以後醫生會再評估一次 你覺得呢 他看起來很好笑吧 我們都一直稱讚他 希望能早日幫他適應戴眼鏡的生活

憲瑞最近很喜歡玩門 但是他每次都忘了要移動腳 所以每次開門關門都要分兩階段 開一半 移動腳 再完成另一半 非常喜歡開關很多次 尤其他Shirley阿姨的門一開 爬的跟飛的一樣 馬上衝進去玩門

Nathan started new obssession..open and close the door numerous times..for some reason..it's more fun than any toys...I should just put my baby next to the door all the time instead of the toy box. :-P Glad there is something called door blocker so he doesn't hurt his fingers.

And he loves his aunt Shirley..whenever she opened her door..Nathan crawl like flying..to reach to her room. :-)

New Hair Style 新髮型

今天憲瑞很幸福的到他多才多藝的CINDY阿姨家去剪頭髮 我們已經很久沒有剪頭髮了 一方面小朋友愛動來動去 頭髮不好剪 二方面 我還蠻喜歡他捲捲長長的頭髮 不過他愛荷華的奶奶快來了 奶奶很喜歡超級短髮 每次來都要盯者大家去剪頭髮 所以我們決定在奶奶來之前先去整理一下 這是他胎毛筆之後第一次減髮 因為他上次的經驗讓他很害怕 所以我一直也遲疑帶他去外面的髮廳剪髮 看樣子只有在他溫柔的阿姨巧手下跟在他熟悉的環境下可以讓他免於剪髮的恐懼

果然 他阿姨溫柔的手 輕輕柔柔的剪 三不五時還親一下 讓他一臉陶醉的快睡著了 中間他只有稍稍抗議一下 哭一下下抱者他 給他吃餅乾又可以繼續剪了

後來他美麗的阿姨還細心的幫他把衣服上的髮屑都清的乾乾淨淨 看憲瑞一臉好奇的看他阿姨用膠帶黏頭髮 之後阿姨還請他吃好吃的蛋捲 我想這樣超級享受的待遇 應該沒有小朋友會不喜歡的吧

剪完了 看起來非常的可愛又清爽 這下子出門應該大家都可以猜到他是可愛的小男生了 希望我們美麗多才能的阿姨以後也繼續照顧我們憲瑞的髮型喔!

Nathan hasn't cut hair for a long time, today we visited his beautiful,talented Aunt Cindy's home and have his first really hair cut. His aunt was so gentle..made it feel like an luxury SPA..Nathan almost fall asleep...although he did protested little bit when it's nearly finished..Overall, I think Nathan behaved well and enjoyed this experience very well...

We went for a nice holiday party at Alex's home, Nathan had a blast..he LOVES the people, the toys, the food...

昨天憲瑞第一次坐旋轉木馬 原以為他會很興奮的 但是因為是第一次 他從頭到尾都是一直發出驚嘆聲 啊 啊 啊 的 到是下來以後 他聽到音樂聲又手舞足蹈了好一陣子

Yesterday was Nathan's first time try the Merry go round and round, he was excited and yet not sure how to respond..he just kept on whispers..oh..oh.oh.....you can see from his expression..he is little bit confused of what's going on..

Nathan's first thanksgiving meal

Oringinally we were planning to visit Nathan's grand grand mom at Napa, northern California for thanksgiving..but poor Nathan got fever and was sick for several days (Poor Nathan..fever for about three days, no appetise..and droped 2 lbs..we thought it was just seasonal cold, but it turned out to be Rosela infantum..which is air-borne and common among baby before their age 2 and gladly he recovered well.), so we decided to cancel the trip and just have a nice, quiet thanksgiving meal by ourself this year.

Since it was the last minute plan, we pick the smallest turkey we can find in the shop the night before, Aaron was in charge of the turkey, and I made the sweet potato, the staffing, cranberry source..it was so great that we have all these time together.

Play with Cat跟貓咪玩

My friend Lillian is a cat-lover and she recently just rescues lots baby-kitten that are left in her backyard.

Even though Nathan has been learning about "Cat" sign language..he never had chance to play with a real one so far.. (well..so does lion..elephant..but we probably won't let him play with them ..:-P )

Aunt Shirley invited us for a cat visit while she is cat-sitter all these cute cats during Lillian's travel so we had the cat adventure last night. And Nathan LOVES the cat, he was very cautious in the beginning..just watch..not willing to touch..after a while, he started to get excited and start to make sounds like "woo woo woooooo" and reached out to touch them. He is so curious..he wants to try the milk they drink..the food they eat..and he enjoyed so much of watching the cats play with each other and walk back and forth in front of him.

我們有一個朋友很愛貓 家裡養了很多隻貓 最近他又收養了好幾隻被遺棄的小貓 昨天我們決定晚上趁下班後帶憲瑞去他家看看 認識一下貓咪 憲瑞剛開始很緊張 只是觀察也不敢碰 但是小貓一直跑過來碰他的腳 他也看到大貓跳上跳下 終於他感興趣 開始發出興奮的嗚嗚嗚~~的聲音 他想摸貓 想試吃貓食 想拿貓喝牛奶的杯子 屋內九隻貓跑來跑去還會互相追逐 看的憲瑞好開心

Nathan Started this thing...the cup we drink..taste better...the spoon we use...make food more delicious..the laptop mom use...is more fun...tonight when Aaron try to feed him, he insist to take over daddy's big spoon and let daddy use his little spoon...

憲瑞最近開始很愛學我們 喝水 大人的杯子喝的比較好喝 吃東西 大人的湯匙或是筷子吃起來比較好吃.......看他搶到我們大湯匙後吃東西一臉幸福的樣子 真的是很好笑 小傢伙 越來越有觀察力 越來越會模仿的

Halloween weekend events-The twin-Antonio and Francisco's 1yr old birthday party

今天憲瑞有忙碌的一天 中午去他的雙胞胎好朋友Antonio and Francisco家參加他們的一歲生日派對 之後再趕去參加他另外的寶寶萬聖節派對 這些是他朋友生日派對的照片 他們的爹娘是拉丁裔的律師跟醫師 所以派對的食物跟來的客人都是說西班牙文的 他的兩個好朋友跟他一起上游泳課跟音樂課 是非常可愛的兩個寶寶 不過他們的親戚跟奶奶們都爭者抱他們 所以我們只有找到機會跟Francisco照相 Nathan在派對上玩的很開心 桌上有可以吹聲音的小喇叭 被他當彩球玩好久 派對最後 更有Pinata的傳統遊戲 在一個紙做的玩偶肚子裡面塞滿糖果 讓小孩子們輪流去敲(照理要蒙者眼睛敲) 看看那個小朋友幸運敲開 敲開了 小孩子分糖果吃 不過憲瑞這個年紀 眼睛不蒙也敲不太到 也敲不開 所以 就敲好玩的啦

Today Nathan got a very fullfilled day, we went to his music and swimming buddy Antonio and Francisco's first year birthday party (Happy Birthday!!!), and then went to another great Halloween party with all his good baby friends.

These are pictures from the birthday party. They are the cutest twin we know. Nathan had a blast with the birthday horn...as maracas (Ha! ) and he tried his first Pinata..tried the yummy yummy Tacos and rice...and the best part is..share this memorable moments with his good friends Antonio and Francisco!

Halloween Party!!!!

This is the baby Halloween costume party that we were so excited for a long time...however, we had another party earlier so we were little bit late and missed the big group picture of the babies :-(((

HOWEVER...Nathan LOVES to see all his good friends there, Taline is so cute and so confident as always and she is just adorable in the Dutch girl dress, his good budy Nathan is the cutest King of LA.. Kacey is such a cute corn princess, and Dashell..is the most handsome bee we know...and Veronica...we missed the chance to see her costume..and we also met many new friends..every one is just so cute..

Nathan was a very contened tree frog..he has been practices to wear the frog hat for over a week..so he didn't struggle to take it off at all....but we decided to give him a break to take it off since it was a really hot day..and Nathan got so excited to see his good buddy the other Nathan at the sand box..so...there he is..happy as can be...and try to eat some sands ofcourse...nothing more delicious than sand, isn't it? :-)

但是憲瑞看到那麼多年紀差不多的小哥哥 小姐姐 還是跟大家玩的很開心 他們都覺得他是一隻很可愛的小樹蛙 不過今天的天氣特別熱 差不多三十幾度 所以所有的寶寶一拍完照 就迫不即待的把衣服換下 改成涼快的夏裝 所以我們小樹蛙也從善如流的 換裝 加入玩沙的行列

My Halloween Pot-luck Dish- Mummy Dog 萬聖節點心 木乃伊熱狗

今天帶憲瑞去一個朋友家辦的萬聖節派對 參加的都是家裡有小寶寶的家庭 我們每一家要負責帶一道點心 我上網查了一下 決定做這個看起來簡單又可愛的木乃伊熱狗 到的時候發現其他媽媽帶的大部分都是很可愛的甜的點心 想不到我們的熱狗從打開包裝開始 不到五分鐘就被瓜分光了

Today we are going to Diane and Kacey's Halloween Costume Party..this is so exciting..and we decided to make the mummies hotdog to match the Halloween Theme..they are so easy..and very cute..this is our first time for the Halloween themed party..I was worry if my dish is okay..consider they all disappeared in few minutes..:-) We were very happy every one enjoyed it!

我們今天照常去上音樂課 所有的寶寶們都為了萬聖節打扮好 有公主 海盜 鴨子 骷髏 恐龍 我們憲瑞是他班上最可愛的青蛙(唯一一隻青蛙) :-) 大部分的寶寶都會想把帽子摘掉 我們因為已經在家裡陸陸續續練習了一兩個星期 所以其他父母都很驚奇整整一小時的課程 憲瑞都乖乖的忍受他腳上的蛙鞋跟頭上的帽子 那隻小獅子還好奇的用手去拔憲瑞頭上的樹蛙眼 看到很多寶寶爬來爬去 好奇的碰者彼此的裝扮 真的很可愛
